Are you ready to be an artist? Collaborate and perform with our faculty of prolific performers, immerse yourself in the ‘happening’ of chamber music, and feel what it is to work and perform as an artist.

Eligibility: Violin, viola, and cello students in middle and high school (advanced elementary students may also apply.)

You are invited to the third annual Honey Acres Chamber Music Festival! Delve deeply into chamber music with the Artist Faculty during this intensive week of rehearsals, workshops, and performances. The select group of participants will each have a personalized experience with opportunities to perform with both their peer group and the professional faculty. Daily coachings and rehearsals with Artist Faculty will give you practical tools and creative inspiration for your journey as a performing artist. Make music in the peace of nature and experience the connection with the land during daily walks around Honey Acres horse farm where the festival takes place. Come to HACMF to be engulfed in music making and continue your path of musical artistry.

Eligibility and Application Information

Violinists, violists, and cellists are welcome to apply. Though there are no age limits, applicants should be working at an intermediate to advanced level. 

Application forms can be found here. A short video will be required with your application to determine admission and place you in a well suited chamber group. Recordings of solo or chamber pieces are admissible. The deadline to apply is May 31st and you will be notified of acceptance by June 5th.

Dates, Schedule, and Tuition

The festival will take place from Monday, July 27th - Saturday, August 1st. Activities will run from 9:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday with a student performance the morning of the final day. Snacks will be provided, but students should to bring their own lunch. Tuition for the week will be $400. (Limited need-based scholarship is available.)
