Join violinist Gracie Carney for an afternoon of whimsical and alternative music on the Farmhouse Patio. Based in Baltimore, Gracie is a graduate of Indiana University and McGill University and enjoys playing classical violin, baroque violin, and viola.

The music starts at 3:00 but arrive as early as 2:30 to get a drink or snack before it starts!

This concert is kid-friendly and children age 10 and under attend for free. Childcare is also available during the performance with advance notice to claire.honeyacres@gmail.com.

"Sorrow and Kindness" explores the connection between feelings of loss, grief, pain, openhearted peace, and kindness through music, poetry, and meditation. The program includes music by J.S. Bach, Eugene Ysaye, and living American composer, Jessie Montgomery. Personal refections will be shared along with excerpts from a poem by Naomi Shihab Nye entitled “Kindness."

If you wish, bring your favorite mug and arrive a few minutes early to get a cup of tea before the music begins.

Originally from the Republic of Tartarstan, Russia, Ramilya Saubanova is “a musician of profound sensitivity, passion and lyricism.” Based in Baltimore, MD, Ramilya recently graduated with a DMA in piano performance.
